SPC are proud to support Lymm Oughtrington Park Cricket Club (LOPCC). For the first time the LOPCC women’s team will be turning out for the coming season in new colured clothing, supported in part by SPC. SPC have been appointed to support the delivery of two major strategic sites on behalf of Homes England and the Defence Infrastructure Organisation.
SPC will help to define the sports infrastructure needs at two major strategic sites, delivering a legacy for sport through the delivery of strategic priorities and ensuring the impacts of growth are accommodated in order to meet future sporting needs.
As a local authority Stockton on Tees Borough Council needed to update and produce a robust Sport England and National Governing Body approved Playing Pitch and Outdoor Sport Strategy (PPOSS). The Council were lacking the internal resources and expertise to lead the process. SPC were recommended to the Council by a number of partner local authorities and several national governing bodies, who had also previously worked with SPC. The PPOSS was signed off by the Council and adopted in December 2022.
